Short summary of Warhammer Online Armies Guide - Armies of Order and Armies of Destruction Guide

Released just this year, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is other addition to the popular Mmorpg or massively multiplayer online role playing game. Termed "War," the game was industrialized by Mythic Entertainment and was based off the setting of "Warhammer Fantasy." The game is basically set in a way that there are two isolate warhammer online armies fighting: the armies of order and the armies of destruction. Each army is added divided into isolate armies which has three to four class choices. The class, which is often referred to as a "career" in Warhammer Online, has about four divisions per army: tank, Melee Dps or Damage Per Second, Ranged Dps, and Healer. Take a look into other warhammer online order and destruction armies guides for more data on how to enhance your game play.

The Armies are yours for the taking when you play the game. However, you have to look into a range of aspects before you start picking the army of your choice. Each army has, of course, a dissimilar set of skills. They have varied troop types as well, along with magical abilities. Each army also has a confident war gear. All in all, there are six basic armies in Warhammer Online: three for the armies of order and three for the armies of destruction. Under the armies of order are the dwarfs army, the empire army, and the high elves army. Under the order of destruction are the greenskins army, the chaos army, and the dark elves army.

Warhammer

Leading the armies, under the agency of the Armies of Order, is the Dwarfs Army which is sometimes known as the Oathbearers. They got this denomination because of their sworn allegiance to the High King. The dwarfs army is made up of tenacious warriors who always have to defend their hoards. The Empire Army is also known as the "Order of the Griffon." Its emperor is Karl Franz. They are comprised of priests, wizards, and warriors who must defend their realm. They acknowledge only to Karl Franz, the emperor. Finally, for the armies of order, there is the High Elves which are also known as the Shining Guard. They are led by Prince Tyrion, a legendary warrior. They must defend their island, Ulthuan, while their Phoenix King is away fighting alongside the army of the Empire.

The other agency of the armies is the Armies of Destruction which is added grouped into the Greenskins, Chaos, and Dark Elves. Orcs and goblins form the Greenskins Army. Their leader is named Grumlok. Their archenemy is the Dwarf Army. The Chaos Army is true to its name: it must originate chaos by destroying all that is in their way. They pay worship to four gods: Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Khorne. If the main enemy of the Greenskins are the Dwarves, for the Chaos Army their archenemy is the Empire Army. Last on the list is the Dark Elves. They used to be High Elves. Their king is Malekith, also known as the Witch King---who always wants to take the throne of the Phoenix King. The Dark Elves worship the Elven God of War and they do so by sacrificing humans. The Dark Elves live in Naggaroth. In Warhammer Online, the Dark Elves are commonly pitted against High Elves. Having a warhammer online order and destruction armies guide will help you with your game.

Warhammer Armies - development and Magnetizing Movement Trays

Most Warhammer armies are composed of units that field in formation - so many models wide, so many deep. It is favorable to put your army on appropriately sized movement trays so you can move the whole unit together. This makes play move faster and will also make your army look much better. When doing this, you need to reconsider the playability, your strategy, and the actual mechanics of basing.

The first thing you'll need to do is choose the size of movement trays you need. This will depend on your Warhammer Army, and your playing style. Games Workshop provides some trays that are of common sizes, but for mostly smaller units. 1x5 for cavalry, 5x4 and a join smaller sizes for infantry. Many players are trying to mass units at least 10 wide now - this allows them to advantage from the Hordes rule which in the new Warhammer rules gives them an extra fighting rank. However, big units are expensive, and you loose flexibility. You need to move in formation and it gets in effect hard to move a big unit like this colse to a busy table. And, a large unit like this can limit the amount of units you have and leave you unable to cover all the threats you'll face on the battlefield. So, there are important trade-offs. For my large I'm sticking with 6x5. This is traditional, but very tried and tested.

Warhammer

I think the mechanics are a bit easier to understand. The movement tray needs to be of the accurate size; it needs to be rigid; it must be easy to pick-up; and the units must stay on it. The trick to retention the models on the tray is to magnetize the bases of the models and to use something that magnets will stick to on the movement tray. I chose to use washers, rare-earth magnets, Gale Force 9 mettalic rubber sheets, and Citadel's modular movement trays. The movement tray has two rigid plastic sheets that are already marked for the allowable base sizes so it's easy to quantum the movement trays to the desired size. The rubber steel sheets are flexible and have self adhesive production it easy to attach the sheets. I cut the plastic sheets with the rotary cutter on my Dremel. Then I traced and cut a steel sheet out of the right size, adhered it to the plastic sheet, and then trimmed it to match. I used #8 washers and 1/16th inch thick disk magnets because combined, they are close to the exact depth of the Games Workshop bases. The closer to the metallic sheet, the better the magnets will stick, so this is important. You want the magnet flush to the lowest of the base, if you can. Then, all I did was super glue (cyanoacrylate) the washer in place, and then the magnet. I used Insta-set accelerator on the glue to make it go faster.

The ensue is a movement tray that can even turn over and the models will stay on. This in effect helps game play!

Armies of the Warhammer 40,000 Universe

Building an army is one of the most important steps when playing Warhammer 40k. Each decision you make, from selecting an army to painting your own models, is a fun and inspiring part of your "career" in the game. Warhammer 40k has many races that fight constantly in the battlefield, and here is a rundown of the major 40k armies that you could select to play with:

The Space Marines are the superhuman warriors created by the Emperor to be the many defenders of mankind. The space marines are only small in number, but their private strengths and flexible tactics still make them one of the strongest 40k armies available.

Warhammer

The Imperial Guard is the Imperium's largest army. This army is composed of thousands of brave soldiers that do all they can to keep humanity safe. Game Workshop, the originator of Warhammer 40k, describes the Imperial Guard as a "sledgehammer" that can crush its opponents by its sheer whole and clashing tanks.

The Eldars are one of the most old races in the Warhammer universe. Their many benefit in battle is its speed and developed technology. However, a great frailness of the Eldars is their lack of toughness. Unlike most armies, the Eldars only take a few blows before they get destroyed in the battlefield.

The faultless opposite of the Eldars are the Orks. The Orks are an uncivilized race and they use rather crude weapons, but they are one of the toughest 40k armies in the battlefield. The Orks are tall and muscular, and they use this as an benefit in battle. The Ork's may lack mobility in war, but their great whole and capability to withstand damage makes them very tough to beat.

The Taus are one of the youngest species in the Warhammer world. But to make up for their lack of experience, the Taus have aggressively vast their home since their first encounters with the Imperium of Man. Now, the Taus enjoy classic technology and firepower that makes them strong especially in long-range battles.

The Tyranids are one of the most feared 40k armies to date. These bio-engineered beasts trip in hives and destroy all that falls on their paths. The Tyranids are the extreme attack army that do well in close combat battles. Indeed, their many benefit is their ferocity, fearing no casualties as long as their goal, which is to destroy, is accomplished.

The Necrons are an old race that has been in existence even longer than the Eldars. It's easy to see how these robot-like 40k armies have survived all these years as they are notorious for their capability to dispell great amounts of bodily damage and their Gauss weapons and technology.

The troops of Chaos are the many enemies of the human race. It is composed of the daemons of Chaos, and those who have turned their backs on the Imperium and turned to Chaos. The daemons of Chaos can possess even the most loyal members of the Imperium of Man and turn them into traitors that will fight against the Imperium.

These are only the major species that form the world of Warhammer 40k. These 40k armies have other sub-populations, some having playable models as well and others only being mentioned in the back-story. Together, these 40k armies and characters make up the unique galaxy that serves as the battlefield in the constant fight in the middle of good and evil.
